Echoes, Whispers and Memories is a practice-led immersive media work that investigates memory as an entropic and non-linear phenomenon within AI-driven visual and sonic systems. Through generative animation, spatialized sound, and large-scale public screen presentation, the work examines how cultural memory, affect, and technological mediation intersect—producing fragile, shifting forms that echo, fade, and recombine over time. Positioned within media architecture and public space, the work foregrounds the temporal and ethical dimensions of AI as a co-creative agent.
The work premiered in October 2024 as part of the City Digital Skin Art Festival (CDSA): Beyond the Screens, presented on the West Lake Media Façade (Building 180), a 170 m × 18 m large-scale LED installation in the center of Hangzhou, China. Since its premiere, the work has travelled internationally, with screenings and performances in Beijing, Singapore, Milan, Los Angeles, Linz, and Chongqing, across major media architecture, immersive exhibition spaces, and live performance contexts.
